Content Moderation & Takedown Policy

This policy covers all user-generated content on FINDIN (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED ("Findin," "we," "us," or "our") platform, including reviews, photos, comments, and listings such as community‑curated Local Picks and Business Listings.
Content Guidelines
All content—whether a Local Pick or a Business Listing—must:
- Be honest and based on first-hand experience
- Remain relevant to the listing or topic
- Respect privacy and not include personal data of others
- Comply with intellectual property laws
Prohibited Content
- Fake reviews, coordinated manipulation, or incentivized content
- Illegal content, hate speech, harassment, or threats
- Sexually explicit content or child endangerment
- Dangerous activities or promotion of illegal goods/services
- Spam, phishing, malware, or mass solicitation
- Doxxing or unauthorized disclosure of personal information
- Copyright or trademark infringement
Reporting Content
To report problematic content:
- Use the in-product "Report" button, or
- Contact support@findin.app with the URL and description
- Include any screenshots or evidence when possible
Report Types & Priority
- High Priority: Child safety, credible threats or self-harm, doxxing, explicit illegal content.
- Medium Priority: Hate speech/harassment, IP infringement, fraud, impersonation.
- Low Priority: Off-topic, minor policy violations, formatting/typos.
Response Times
- High Priority: initial review target within 12 hours
- Medium Priority: initial review target within 24–48 hours
- Low Priority: initial review target within 3–5 business days
Emergency & Safety Escalation
Imminent threats to life or safety may be escalated to appropriate authorities consistent with applicable law. If you or someone else is in danger, contact local emergency services immediately.
Our Actions
When violations are found, we may:
- Remove content immediately
- Limit content visibility
- Request edits or corrections
- Issue warnings to the account
- Suspend or terminate accounts for severe or repeated violations
Law Enforcement Requests
We review and respond to legally valid requests in accordance with applicable law, our Terms of Service, and user privacy. We may notify affected users unless prohibited by law or where notification could cause harm.
Appeals
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake, contact support@findin.app within 14 days with context and evidence. We'll re-review and notify you of the outcome.
Recordkeeping
We maintain records of reports and enforcement actions for auditing and quality assurance, retained for a reasonable period consistent with our Privacy Policy.
Transparency
We may publish periodic, aggregated transparency updates about content enforcement to help our community understand how policies are applied.
