3. What is Prohibited Discrimination?

Prohibited discrimination includes, but is not limited to, the following actions:

3.1. Race, Color, Ethnicity, National Origin

Treating individuals differently or unfavorably based on their race, color, ethnicity, or national origin. This includes refusing to book, host, or communicate with someone because of their background.

3.2. Religion

Discriminating against individuals based on their religious beliefs or affiliations. This includes denying bookings or service based on someone's faith.

3.3. Gender and Gender Identity

4. Specific Rules for Hosts

Hosts on Findin are expected to adhere to the following rules to ensure a nondiscriminatory environment:

4.1. Availability and Pricing

Hosts must make their listings available to all eligible guests, regardless of protected characteristics. Pricing should be consistent and not vary based on a guest's identity.

4.2. Refusal of Service

4.3. Discriminatory Language

Hosts may not use discriminatory language in their listings, communications, or any other content on the platform. This includes derogatory terms, stereotypes, or any language that expresses a preference for or against certain groups.

4.4. Preferences, Limitations, and Disclosures

Hosts must not impose any discriminatory preferences or limitations in their listing descriptions or rules. While hosts can disclose legitimate safety or legal requirements (e.g., age restrictions for alcohol consumption), these must be applied uniformly and not used as a pretext for discrimination.

5. Specific Rules for Guests

Guests on Findin are also expected to uphold our commitment to nondiscrimination:

  • Respectful Communication: Guests must communicate with hosts and other users respectfully, refraining from any discriminatory or offensive language.
  • No Discriminatory Requests: Guests may not make requests that imply discrimination against the host or the listing (e.g., asking for a host of a specific ethnicity).
  • Compliance with Rules: Guests must adhere to all legitimate and nondiscriminatory rules set by hosts for their listings.

6. Reporting Violations

If you believe you have experienced or witnessed discrimination on the Findin platform, please report it to Findin Support immediately.
